California Roses

I recently got back from being on vacation where I got to spend an entire week with my sister in California. Since she still had to proctor a few finals while I was visiting I had some time to explore around USC. Right across from the campus is the Exposition Rose Garden which is free and open to anyone that wants to explore. I spent a couple of hours just wandering among the flower beds, taking pictures and soaking in the California sun.
Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

I love the soft pink center with the white edges.

A more bright and fun colored rose.

Lots of small purple shrub roses.

Bed of yellow roses.

Peachy pink roses are my favorite.

The petals look very feathery on these blooms.

The colors on this one remind me of a sunrise.

I like how the edges are dark and fade lighter toward the center.

These orange roses were on bushes over 6 feet tall.

Looking down a path at the fountain in the center of the gardens.

Center fountain.
